Hunter vs ServiceTitan

A ServiceTitan alternative sized for a pest control business

ServiceTitan is a large, capable home-services platform built for US contractors at scale. For an Australian pest control business it is a great deal of platform — and none of it is pest compliance.

Best for: Large US home-service contractors across multiple trades

The short version

ServiceTitan is one of the most complete field-service platforms ever built, and for a big US HVAC, plumbing or electrical contractor it earns its keep. An Australian pest control business is a different shape: you need pesticide records, technician licences and treatment cycles, not a multi-trade enterprise suite priced and implemented like one. Hunter is the narrow version of that idea.

One thing to get out of the way before the table: Hunter is not sold the way the products on this page are. They are software licensed per user, which you configure and then operate. Hunter is a crew of AI employees installed with you — the work of answering, quoting, chasing and reporting is done by the system rather than by staff using it — so it is priced as one thing against what that work costs you today, not per seat. That makes a row-by-row feature comparison useful and a price comparison meaningless, which is why there isn't one. What it costs is on the pricing page and in full on the call.

Where ServiceTitan falls short

ServiceTitan is built for North American home services. There is no Australian per-state pesticide record schema, no AU technician licence tracking and no AS 3660 or AS 4349.3 document set — pest compliance is something you would configure rather than switch on.

It is sold and supported from North America, and the implementation is scaled to the platform: a multi-trade enterprise rollout is the right shape for a hundred-truck contractor and a heavy one for a pest business with a handful of utes. Hunter is also installed rather than self-served — the difference is that what gets installed is a pest control business, not a configuration of a general one.

Why Australian pest control teams choose Hunter

Hunter gives you the parts of a big platform a pest business actually uses, and none of the weight:

  • Every feature assumes pest control — no configuration project
  • Per-state compliance records for NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, ACT and NT
  • An AI agent that quotes, schedules and handles customer comms
  • Bait stations, assets and QR tracking ready to go
  • One AUD price for the whole crew — no per-seat maths as the team grows
