Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Hunter website and software. By creating an account or using Hunter, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

The service

Hunter provides AI-powered software that helps Australian pest control businesses manage jobs, records, scheduling, and compliance. We may update, improve, or change features of the service over time to keep it useful and secure.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Hunter. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login details secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use.

Subscriptions and billing

Hunter is sold on application. Pricing, the implementation fee and any usage charges are as set out in your order form, and are itemised in Hunter before anything is charged. Amounts are in Australian dollars and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

• Your subscription is a flat monthly fee for the bundle of capabilities set out in your order form, billed in advance. There is no per-seat charge.
• The implementation fee is one-off, charged once per business, and is itemised separately from the subscription.
• A setup window applies from the day your organisation is created, during which the product is fully available while implementation is completed.
• You can cancel at any time, and your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
• We may change our prices with reasonable prior notice, which will apply from your next billing period.
• A bundle grants a defined set of capabilities. The record system — customers, sites, jobs, quotes, invoices, chemical records and compliance documents — is included in every bundle and is never switched off. Which AI capabilities your bundle includes is set out on our security page and in the app.

Fees and usage charges

Beyond your subscription there are three usage-based charges, and no others. Each is shown in Hunter against the payment, usage period or payout that caused it, and all are exclusive of GST.

Card payments

If a customer pays one of your invoices by card, our fee is 2.7%of the amount charged. That figure is all-inclusive: Stripe’s own processing cost comes out of it, so there is no second fee and no fixed per-transaction component. Funds settle to your own Stripe account and pay out to your bank on Stripe’s schedule; we do not hold your takings. Payments you receive by bank transfer, cash or cheque carry no fee.

AI usage beyond your allowance

Each bundle includes a monthly allowance of AI credits. That allowance is a soft limit: once it is used, the Hunter agent keeps working and further usage is charged on your next invoice at the per-credit rate shown in your order form and in Settings. A monthly ceiling on that additional usage is applied by default and is shown there too; you can raise it, lower it or remove it. Where a ceiling is in place, the agent pauses on reaching it until you change it or the billing month restarts. During the setup window no additional usage is charged — the agent simply pauses at the included allowance. The rest of the software is never restricted by credit usage.

Referral payouts

If you operate the customer referral program, we retain 10% of each reward paid to a referrer. The charge applies only to rewards that are actually paid out, which happens after a referred customer books and pays their first invoice. You set the reward amount and approve each payout.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Hunter lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

• Use the service to break any law or infringe the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or disrupt the service.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the service or its content.
• Upload malicious code or content that is unlawful, harmful, or misleading.

Your data and responsibilities

You retain ownership of the business and customer data you enter into Hunter. You grant us the rights needed to host and process that data to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide any information you input and for meeting your own record-keeping and compliance obligations. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

Hunter, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any ownership in the service. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Hunter while your subscription is active and you comply with these terms.

Third-party services

Hunter may integrate with or link to third-party services, such as payment providers and calendar tools. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Disclaimers

Hunter is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hunter will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the service. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the fees you paid for it in the three months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Hunter and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, your right to use the service ends, and we will handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state or territory in which Hunter is established. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that location.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use Hunter after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
